Here is another photo of my old studio from 1988-89 or mybe a few years earlier or a few years later.
Here is photo from 1988-89 of my studio.
Here is an old picture from around 1989 of me using Cakewalk for DOS in my studio.
I visited with Arno Verstappen the owner of Dutch Master Recording Studio just outside of Austin in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. Using my Flip Video camera and the super simple built in software, I created this little video.

This is a blast from the past. What's in my studio control room picture? Let's see:
PC XT Clone running Cakewalk for DOS
CD player
TASCAM 32 2-track 1/4"
TASCAM 38 8-track 1/2"
There's a Desser set on top of a Rockman (with blue face) sitting on Auratone speakers (which I still have!). That is next to my RAMSA WRT820 board. EV Sentry100 monitors hanging from the ceiling.
In the left rack there's a power conditioner (which I still have). Below that is some Alesis FXs. MR2 cassette deck, Aphex type B exciter, BBE enhancer.
In the other rack a couple of reverbs -- Alesis and Art.
That looks like everything other than the Boss guitar tuner.
The making of "20 Dollar Nose Bleed" (from the album Folie A Deux) in studio with Fall Out Boy and Brendon Urie from Panic At The Disco.
Toby Gad ("Fergie's BigGirlsDon'tCry") wrote this song with Negin. This video clip shot by Ray Yau and edited by Steve Woodzell shows Miley Cyrus in the studio with Toby Gad in NYC, recording Toby's song "One In A Million" for her #1 album Hannah Montana season2. If you subscribe you won't miss the next hot upcoming artists Toby is working with.
