Hit Hackers? What is that?
The Hit Hackers are Eric, Bill and Art (the "Masked Hacker"), three brothers who love music and songwriting.
We want to write great songs, and we've been studying songwriting for a long time. One day, one of us said, "Maybe we should look at hit songs and hack them to see how they work. We could learn alot." So here we are, hacking the hits and recording our conversations about them to share with other aspiring songwriters around the world.
To provide focus, we've decided to only hack #1 hits. It can be from any chart -- pop, country, rock -- but it has to have been #1. Guess what, lots of songs to choose!
The Hit Hackers website is a combination of blog, podcast and video podcasting -- all part of a conversation we'd like you to join. We love hearing from our audience, so feel free to post comments on the blog, or just email us.
